Prime Minister Nabbanja has directed, policemen and local leaders to put an end to behavior of harassing women by beating them up and work towards erasing it in the community completely because the government has put in place all possible measures to cease this vice that at most lead to long-lasting effects.

       During the celebrations that marked the belated Kasese district International women’s day that was held in Kabuyanda Isingiro at Nyakasanga playground on 12^th/05/2023, the Prime Minister said women work more effectively towards the development of the country if they are loved by their husbands.” Men should love and support their women and not harass them”. She explained.

    The premier directed the police and local council leaders to strongly respond to any form of risk imposed on well-being and safety of women and children within their jurisdiction.
